PHOS is the Greek word for light. Disciple Now Weekend for First Baptist Church of Norfolk focused on being light in the world in 2013. The design for this event was driven by the Greek word. We decided to take some notes from our greek life friends and create the design like that of fraternities and sororities. The poster seen above was made completely in Cinema 4d. While we thought about making the object in the real world and photographing it, we decided that we wouldn’t be able to get the effect of the logo glowing. The glowing logo was something we wanted from the beginning to help illustrate the theme.
